I have to say, I don't know how I get suckered into reading these articles... Poorly considered and inclusive of minor amounts of research. As another commentator put it, to think that a far left leaning candidate was going to blow into town, campaign on The Green New Deal, Social Justice, and Obamacare, no matter how much you and I might agree those are critically important issues, and sweep the election is just ridiculous. Voters elect candidates. And Kentucky voters are as likely to vote for deeply Democratic candidate you "deserve" (assuming you're from Kentucky) as they are to suddenly admit that mining jobs aren't something they want to see return. Running a center-right candidate is the ONLY hope of beating McConnell. Running a candidate that doesn't outright offer to punch Trump in the nose is the ONLY way to come anywhere near a win in a state that has a nanoparticle size chance of ousting McConnell. He's a damn hero to the Right at the moment. But getting her to make him laugh like the grim reaper on the debate stage in front of the country when talking about COVID deaths? That means something in the overall political game.

I don't know that you "deserve" anything. And certainly don't know if you "deserve" anything if you're not from Kentucky. I understand the aggressive frustration with the Democrats (trust me, I do.... Jeff Daniels/Aaron Sorkin said it best). But donating to Amy McGrath isn't the problem. And certainly not the entitled way you're putting it.
